Truecaller Introduces Post-Call Actions for Faster Customer Follow-Ups

Truecaller has launched Post-Call Actions, a new feature designed to let consumers complete relevant follow-up tasks through Truecaller after interactions

Truecaller has launched Post-Call Actions, a new feature designed to let consumers complete relevant follow-up tasks through Truecaller after interactions with verified businesses.

Announced on September 7, 2026, the feature is initially rolling out for last-mile delivery companies, with planned use cases for banking, financial services and insurance to follow.

Turning Business Calls into Actions

Post-Call Actions connects a business call with the next step a customer needs to take.

For eligible delivery-related calls, Truecaller can display contextual action prompts on the After Call Screen. According to Truecaller’s documentation, these prompts can appear when a delivery-related call is unanswered, rejected or disconnected.

Customers can use the available actions to reschedule a delivery, cancel an order, share their location, request a callback, leave a parcel at the door or track an order.

Truecaller’s launch announcement also highlights actions such as confirming availability and authorising a safe drop for delivery use cases.

Starting with Last-Mile Delivery

The first rollout focuses on last-mile delivery, where customers may need to respond quickly when a delivery call cannot be answered or when delivery arrangements need to change.

Instead of requiring the customer to search for a separate message or contact the delivery company again, the relevant action can be presented within the Truecaller experience.

The feature is part of Truecaller’s enterprise suite and builds on its existing Verified Business communication capabilities.

Banking and Financial Services Next

Truecaller says the next stage will include use cases and customisable options for banking, financial services and insurance. The company has identified potential actions such as paying dues, requesting a callback, completing a pending KYC step and confirming a transaction.

These financial-services applications are planned extensions, rather than the primary initial rollout described for the delivery sector.

The company says Post-Call Actions for these use cases will be connected to Verified Business Calls, providing customers with a trusted business-communication context for the interaction.

Building on Verified Business Communication

Post-Call Actions extends Truecaller’s existing business communication infrastructure.

For businesses, the feature provides a way to present relevant next-step actions after customer calls rather than ending the interaction at the conversation itself.

The company says the feature is intended to address situations where follow-up activities would otherwise involve additional channels such as links, applications or customer-service queues.

A Broader Role for Business Calls

The launch represents an expansion of Truecaller’s role in business communication. Rather than limiting the platform to identifying a business caller, Post-Call Actions adds functionality for completing specific customer-service tasks after a call.

For delivery companies, the immediate focus is practical: helping customers change delivery arrangements, communicate their availability or provide instructions following a delivery-related call.

The planned expansion into banking, financial services and insurance could extend the same model to more complex customer interactions, subject to the rollout of those use cases.

Truecaller’s Post-Call Actions highlights a broader direction in business communication: moving from identifying who is calling to helping customers complete what needs to happen next.

The initial delivery-focused rollout puts the emphasis on practical customer actions such as rescheduling, location sharing, callback requests and order tracking.

With banking, financial services and insurance identified as the next areas of expansion, the feature could eventually connect verified business calls with a wider range of customer-service workflows.

For businesses, the underlying proposition is straightforward: make the next customer action available at the moment it is needed.

Truecaller’s latest feature turns the post-call screen into a potential customer-service touchpoint, beginning with last-mile delivery and potentially expanding into financial services.
